UGA Auburn house divided

SEC Football divides families more than politics ever will

This is not a political post…well not is the traditional sense…unless you are Southerner, and then you know that SEC football and the Georgia/Auburn game is political.  It separates families, friends and pits neighbors against each other- far worse than any election.  I’ll be honest, my Aunt Pam hasn’t spoken to me since Uga tried to eat one of her players in 2006.

I maintain this weekend’s game will be the Georgia Rally to Restore Balance

So here are the stats for the Georgia-Auburn game.  This is the 114th time that the two teams have faced off since their first game in Piedmont Park in 1892.  Of those games, Auburn has won 53 (boo) and Georgia has won 52, and they have tied eight.  In other words, UGA needs to rally to a victory and restore harmony and balance to the World.

Plus there’s the added benefit that it will help secure Georgia’s bowl spot- I am thinking the Sugar Bowl again this year, but I’ll take it, better that than no bowl.

Oh!  And I almost forgot the best part!  When the Dawgs crush Auburn this weekend, it will upset their undefeated season.  It will be a huge blow to their BCS National Championship campaign.  Huge!

Gooooo Dawgs! Sic ‘em! Woof Woof Woof!!!!!
